By downloading, installing, or using Brewd ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. We may update these Terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Brewd is a coffee tracking application that helps you log brews, manage equipment and bean inventory, record tasting notes, and analyse brewing trends. The App stores data locally on your device. Optional cloud features are available for signed-in users.
Creating an account is optional. You may use the App without an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes.
You may delete your account at any time from within the App under Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your cloud data.
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial of Brewd Pro. No payment information is required during the trial. At the end of the trial, your account reverts to a free account unless you purchase Brewd Pro.
Brewd Pro is a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) through their respective payment systems. Refunds are subject to the policies of Apple or Google. We do not store your payment information.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
Signed-in users may opt in to share anonymous brew data for community insights. By enabling this feature, you grant Brewd a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your anonymised and aggregated brew data to produce community insights, improve the App, and develop new features. No individually identifiable data is shared with other users.
You may withdraw this consent at any time by disabling the feature in Settings → Privacy. Withdrawal of consent does not affect data already aggregated prior to withdrawal.

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by Brewd and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all data you enter into the App. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you beyond the limited licence to use the App.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Brewd provides tools for tracking coffee brewing. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any brewing recommendations, community insights, or analytical data provided by the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brewd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for Brewd Pro, or AUD $50, whichever is greater.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top. Signed-in users will be notified via email if changes materially affect their data handling. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
